Small Houses showcases ten innovative examples of housing under 1500 square feet from across North America. It documents recent advances in small housing types in small housing types—from small lot homes to cottage housing—in places where regulations have been purposefully designed, or substantially reformed, to encourage the development of well-conceived forms. Case studies feature small-scale housing projects in LA, Portland, Montreal, Langley, Seattle, Burnaby, Vancouver, North Vancouver and San Francisco.
